Distance education enabled by e-learning is at the forefront of Camford Business School participation in an increasingly connected world. Physical, temporal, cultural and educational borders are becoming both less rigid and less predictable than ever before. We provide a list of E-Learning tools for the student as prepare themselve to their self-llearning.
E-Lecture
Camford E-Campus provides a separate E-Lecture for each module. If a student has enrolled for 2 courses, then Camford E-Campus will automatically provide the E-Lecture for each course respectively with a web link in the student login page to access the E-Lecture at Camford E-Campus website. At Camford E-Campus all students have an equal chance to participate in all discussions, assignments and projects just as in a face-to-face classroom. Students have an opportunity to review the class activities and to compose and edit their responses; the level of learning can be greater than in a face-to-face class conversation.
E-Exam
We have developed various online assessment methods. One of the key assessments developed and implemented at present time is the Online Paper that comprise of multiple choice examination. Students that have completed the online examination will be given an immediate oral test through video conference system. Thereafter, a report that provides a feedback to the student with the following information, question attempted and the correct answer will be compared to the student provided online answers. The E-Exam also included the course assesment through submited assignment, project or case study.
E-Resource
Students will be able to download their lecture notes, course outlines, assessment guide and other relevant documents pertaining to the particular module that the student has enrolled.
E-Library
E-Library provide students based on E-Library digital contents and databases such as electronic journals, foreign web databases, e-books, journals, and dissertations from other schools, lectures, and reports, lecture notes, and tests.
E-Mentoring
Every course has an online chat room where students can meet to work on group projects, or set up live interactions with the module mentor through E-Mail or video conferencing. Camford E-Mentoring sessions are in fact, advantageous for students to schedule regular interactions with their mentors in a specific time. Students will be able to interact with the mentor, lecturer and other students enrolled for this course.
E-Discussion
A forum discussion similiar to a face-to-face class discussion. E-Learning courses have a threaded discussion on topics that the lecturer assigns. All students must post an answer to the discussion topic as well as read and react to others' responses. |
